Hi All,
Just wondering Ions support the use of a Matrox Dual or Triple HeadToGo in order to gain some more valuable screen real-estate?
I know there are various ways of getting extra screens, like using an RPU/2nd console or a client dongle with a laptop, but if the DHTG would work, then it would solve a problem I'm going to hit next week! (Bigger console/additional hardware is not available- it's a job I've done before and know what to expect, and I know that squeezing all the necessary information and user-interface onto two screens is tricky. Snapshots help but are not ideal.)
<Wishful thinking from a grumpy GeniusPro user>
If only there were a way of making 'mirror mode' look at a different workspace (like you could do with the free Strand Node software- you could effectively tell a 300 or 500-series it had more screens than the number of outputs and pull the additional ones up on a networked computer)! I'd be quite content parking the 'Playback Status' display off on a non-touch screen. Seems to me like ETC's workspaces would be perfect for setting up this sort of arrangement.

Thanks,
Ian
