Scroller Calibration in 2.3

Hello!

I'm running an Ion at work and I installed 2.3 last week. Yesterday I saw that I was unable to calibrate my scrollers with the encoders- when I tried, the Calibrate button would only show up if I was in the first gel, open. As soon as I scrolled away (by gel every time, I couldn't get anything in between), the button would go disappear. I managed a work around using the ML Controls.

Thought I'd update ETC as well as see if I'm the only one with the issue or doing something silly.

I found that if I held down shift and moved the encoder ever so slightly to center the frame then the calibrate button would appear when I depressed the encoder.

Are you able to user [shift] and the encoder to make a small change and then choose {Calibrate}?

Scrollers are calibrated by using the Fine controls to adjust away from the existing Full-Frame position into the correct Full-Frame position.
You then hit {Calibrate} to record this as the new full-frame position.

However, we did change how you get into Fine mode when we added the [Shift] key.
Since then, holding down [Shift] enters Fine mode for the physical encoders.
