Problem with Fixture for VL3000 Wash

As Anne asked to put up problems with Fixtures, one just so happened to have showed up today. On a VL3000 Wash the Lamp On and Lamp Off commands are very unreliable. In the fixture the wait time on giving values to Lamp Control DMX, Step 1, is 3 seconds. If this is changed to 5 seconds it works every time.

Hi Christina,

Can you see if in the Fixtures list (Patch -> Fixtures), the VL3000 Wash shows an 'Update Lib' option below? If so, can you click it to upgrade the profile?

In the most recent version, I see the lamp commands going to 4 seconds.

If we need to lengthen to 5 seconds, we can look at it - just wondering if 4 seconds works as well.

Hi Hans

I've had problems on my current show with a updated VL3500 spot fixture set to 4 seconds.
We should change all the reset times to 5 seconds, I think we extended the times on Martin fixtures many years ago.
I think the problem I had was with VL fixtures on old software but I couldn't confirm this before I left.

Hi Nick,

Quick follow-up - we included changes to VL timing as of version 11.2.0.9.0.26 of the fixture library. Eos 2.3.2 beta builds 28 and up also have these changes.
