shut down macro bug when exitting software

This is expected behavior at the moment.

The idea is that if you needed to exit for a moment to adjust a setting in the shell and then relaunch, you may not want to run the power off macro (and lamp off your movers/HMIs/etc...)

Ahh. fair enough. the down side is that if I'm going to the shell at the end of the end of the night to re-set the console clock (which doesn't keep time over the months), I need to re-launch the program to then run the shut down macro.

OR when you hit the shut down button from the shell, THEN the shut down macro can fire???

(and I'd like to suggest having the clock set command accessible from the console, adn not the shell. Having to pull out of the software to correct the clock seems excessive, and means I can't do it until the rehearsal or show is over)

That isn't possible (or desirable, really).
The shell knows nothing of the show file - it's core job is to be there when everything else is not - so ETC's Tech Service can fix it!

The clock shouldn't need to be updated often, and the console also supports network time so you can configure a timeserver for automatic time updates if very accurate console time is important to you.

The clock itself should be about as accurate as a normal wristwatch, so if you're finding the clock is drifting more than a few seconds in a month then there may be some other issue, and you should contact Tech Service who can help.
