Yesterday I was at a local theatre using their Gio console and could not record any moving light parameters...only intensities. I didn't have this issue the last time I was there, and I'm not the only one having it now. When you set a look using the moving lights and then press [record] [cue] [1] [enter] all moving lights return to home values, and only the intensity is recorded. It must be some sort of desk default that has been set since it seems to affect all show files.
The theatre is used by many people and since the last time I was there someone has obviously clicked a box somewhere that disables the ability to record moving light attributes, but no one knows where that box is. I didn't really have time to look into it and fortunatley my show was a 'set it and forget it' so it didn't really matter, but it will sooner than later I'm sure. Any help to find that setting would be appreciated Thanks!
