Someone may already have asked this question but just incase i've missed it.
I've created 2 absolute effects 1 being time 0.5 dwell 0.5 with two actions 100 and 0 so essentially a step command though channels
my 2nd is a slower absolute time 1 dwell 2 with two actions 100 and 0
these effects are both run over generic dimmer lamps
i record each individual effect on seperate submasters so effect 1 on a fade and effect 2 on another
both these submasters are set to intensity master and effect sub
In the previous version of the software i was able to push the bump button on one effect submaster and put the fader up (for intensity) and then push the 2nd effect submaster bump button and it would sit there waiting essentially for a cross fade between effect 1 and effect 2 submasters.
In the latest version of 2.3.1 this isn't the case as i would run the first effect sub like normal but as soon as i push the 2nd effect sub bump button it would black out the original running effect (effect 1 Sub).
As i do alot of dance shows and alot of busking i normally have all effect subs flashing awaiting instruction to be faded up.
Is this a bug that is going to be fixed in the next version as at the moment i will have to unistall and reinstall the previous version as this is a floor for me
I had rung ETC and they had told me it isn't possible to do what i need in the latest version, but i know it was possible in the previous one
