Ion desk not transitioning between ques

Question

Hi All, 
 
 Having an issue using our desk sometimes - usually the desk is fine and will transition between ques (i.e. cue 1 as a blackout, cue 2 as a straw wash). 
 However recently I have been unable to transition between ques! I still retain the ability to manually control channels etc. Doesn't matter if it's a new project or an existing one (that has previously worked) 
 
 All I can see is the duration of the transition is M, and the cue will highlight the correct channels, just not affect their intensity! 
 
 Any help would be appreciated... at the end of my tether!

Check your main playback faders are fully up, it sound like you gone to manual which is faders down, press go and move the faders up in you desired manual speed (overriding the cue time)
