Two touch monitors NOMAD-EOS

The configuration is Dell Inspiron 2350 all-in-one (touch-screen) and Dell S2240T (touch-screen), windows 8.1 operating system in Dell Inspiron. NOMAD-EOS v2.3.

Windows screen resolution Mode Multiple displays : <extend these displays>, Monitor primario (1) (All-in-one Inspiron touch)

EOS system shell (settings) :

Fullscreen Offline Editor (ok)

Offline Editor Windows (1)

It is the second monitor (S2240T) only one source to display information?

I can not use the two touch monitors simultaneously?

Singlón the mouse on the S2240T, the EOS software works correctly.

However, when I use the touch mode (S2240T), then the mouse jumps to main sreen (Dell Inspiron 2350). in this situation Eos behaves erratically. Windows 8.1 problems?

In Windows 8.1 you can only configure a primary monitor in extended mode. Therein lies the problem? [:S]

Hi Jkar,

On Windows 7 and 8 (and likely 10), you need to configure the touchscreens in Windows so that it knows how to map the touch input to a particular display - this is a Windows thing and not something in Eos software.

Go to Control Panel -> Tablet PC Settings. In the Display tab, click on Setup in the Configure group. Follow the on-screen prompts.

Another example: if press channel 12 in magic sheet (monitor 2) then the Monitor 2 switches the display to live tablet mode, as monitor 1 ......

This is not directly related to Nomad. It is a function of Windows, your display adapter, and the touchscreen drivers.

Somewhere in your system there will be a utility to configure touchscreens and associate the touch input with a specific monitor.

As it is currently behaving, both touchscreen inputs are set to monitor 1. One of them needs to be changed to monitor 2.

After inquiring on internet unfortunately the windows 8 and 8.1 has no way to distinguish which is the secondary touch after monitor. Only one touch monitor is supported at a time.

cleared up. Windows 8.1 does not currently support the simultaneous use of two touch screens. [8o|]
