Second Universe Syntax

Universe slash address, so 513 equals 2/1

Thank you for the reply. When I try that I get: Chan 2/ - Error: Syntax Error. How do get the 2 to be just that, not channel 2?

We're working in channel order at the moment, so you need to put the channel number first, then @, then 2/.
For example.
101 @ 2/1 Enter
Would patch channel 101 to universe 2/1 (513).

If you want to patch address first use the format key to change to address order.
2/1 @ 101 Enter.

So do you only use this syntax when patching or can you also use it in Live mode?

No, all my dimmers are in the first universe and I have been using the second for my wireless DMX and DMX addressable fixtures. Thanks for your help!

There's no right and wrong way to setup.
Some people will patch there dimmers 1 to 1, then to everything else after. So if you have 150 dimmers, they then do Movers, LED's Smoke machine etc etc as channels 200's onwards.

On big shows with lots of movers it's often the movers 1-100 (or 200 or 300 or ...) and they then put dimmers as channels after that.
