prolights reflex wash light profile zoom parameter incorrect.

Prolights reflex moving wash light. on ETC element.  I recently ought 2 of these fixtures for my theatre.  they are great but the zoom parameter is the wrong way around in the fixture profile.  The parameter indicates that fixture should be from 10 to 60 degrees as the slider is pushed up however the lighting fixture zooms from wide to narrow. (the opposite way around).  Is it possible to edit the fixture profile so that the parameter shows 60 at  the bottom and 10 at the top.  the manual for the zoom (channel 14) states 0-240 degrees in the channel description yet in the introduction it states 10 to 60 degrees.

Thanks

  • Hi there,

I looked at the profile. I agree there's some confusing things in the manual - 0-240 degrees is rather odd for lighting photometrics, though I see where you found it. Earlier in the document under the specifications, it lists a 10-60 degree range.

We'll request the range reversal for a future library update (it'll be for v2.3.2). In the meantime, you can make a copy of the fixtures under [Patch] -> {Fixtures} -> {Copy}. From there, swap the min and max values (should be 255 to 0). Next, repatch those channels with that fixture copy as the type.

    Thanks!
