Eos Nomad 2.3.2 Install Shield error on Windows 10

Hi All,

I keep having install shield error issues when installing Nomad 2.3.2.9.0.45 on my laptop and desktop pc both running Windows 10.

The error code that install shield gives me is:

Error Code: -5006 : 0x800700b7

Error Information:

I have already tried disabling my anti virus software and disabling my User Account Control Settings which did not help.

I have successfully been able to install it on two other laptops that are running Windows 7 and Windows 8. In these instances, I didn't need to make any changes to my PC settings or disable any anti virus software.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Have you tried running it with full administrator privilieges? Windows 7 and 8 you can just right click and choose to run as an administrator. I believe this is still there in Windows 10. Here is a link that shows what that might look like on a windows 10 system. Scroll down to option 2 to see the right click method. You should just have to browse to it through file explorer and then right click it and choose to run as administrator.

So much for the easy answer. Will investigate the issue. I don't suppose you could get a screen capture of the error screen with details expanded?

So I got my Windows 10 Pro x64 VM spun up and tried the ETCnomad_Eos_PC_v2.3.2.9.0.45 installer on there. It installed ok for me :/

Perhaps try downloading the installer again in case it got corrupted?
