Trouble with Magnum 1800

Most of the smoke machines in the fixture library (if not all) use a 'Fog' parameter and not intensity.
I normally copy the fixture and change the parameter to intensity.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't work. What am i missing?

Which console are you on and which software?

I looked at this yesterday on version 2.3.2 (but I doubt it's changed from earlier versions), when I patched a Magnum 1800 and looked in ML Controls it shows me the Fog parameter. On  a console look at the form encoders.

If you want control of this on the level wheel you'll need to change fixture. Let us know if you need talking through this.

Yes. I tried to change the fixture as suggested: made a file and changed the fog parameter to intensity but it didn't work..If you have any ideas please let me know

Is it possible you can post a showfile?

Here is a showfile with channel 1000 and an edited fixture. I can't test this on a console but this works on Nomad.

If you save your showfile and then merge in channel 1000 and fixtures into your showfile (you'll need to go into advance merge and select start and end channel 1000 to be safe).
