Is it possible to install a bluetooth driver for a tiny bluetooth-usb-adapter on ION console?

Hey there. I wanted to ask if there is any possibility to install  a bluetooth driver for a tiny bluetooth-usb-adapter on ION console? we are looking for a smart luminated keyboard solution. and the smallest and best keyboards are always with bluetooth connection... usb connection is normally only for charching the batteries.... so the smartest solution would be to plug a bluetooth adapter and use a bluetooth keyboard (z.b. logitech K811).... Thanks for an answer! Nik

    Logitech has a proprietary USB "unifying receiver" that requires no additional drivers. Try one of those instead. FWIW, the K811 is intended for use with iPad or iPhone.

    We do not recommend installing any additional drivers on to the console, as it gets the console into an untested state that could affect system stability. We also would not be able to expose any of the control applications the driver might install, which would affect things like bluetooth device pairing.

    USB devices that are driver-less (or more specifically, use generic/HID drivers) exist, as sk8rsdad points out. For example - on Windows 7 consoles, we recommend any "Compatible with Windows 7" touchscreen, as these too are driverless and work just fine with the console.
