Rem Dim odd behaviour

Hi,

I've been given a set of LED wash/beam lights to use on a cued show and I've found an odd behaviour with the Rem Dim function. If I create a cue with the washes in and want to tweak their focus position I can use the following command: Chan 211 [Rem Dim] [Enter], and I can user the mouse to adjust the focus position in the moving light control section of the display. When I'm done I then press [Rem Dim][Enter] and all other lamps return to their recorded level. However, if when I Rem Dim a wash light I adjust both its focus position and its zoom, when I press [Rem Dim][Enter] again everything except the wash I selected stays at 0%!

Is this meant to happen, or I am not typing the correct commands? I'm using an Element 60/250 which is running version 2.2.1 of the software, and the wash lights are Prolights Reflexes.

  • Thanks for the report. SCR 34386. Oddly, this behavior is only seen when using the focus grid in ML controls. Until we can fix this, your best option is to use the pan/tilt virtual encoders to the right of the focus grid when deploying rem dim.  If that is totally unacceptable, you can [ - ] [channel select]  [sneak]  [enter] to restore all channels except the one(s) you've just adjusted.   Sorry about that.

    Best,
    Anne
