Playback Status Customization

Is anyone aware of any way of customising playback status  I have a simple generic fixture show on a relatively low resolution monitor  I find that I can't read the cue labels as most of the display is taken with Playback status columns such as focus, colour and beam which are of course, entirely blank

I'm sure it used to be possible to largely collapse these columns but this doesn't seem to be possible in 2.3.2

Any other suggestions ? It feels like a visual refresh of the playback status is long overdue

Many Thanks

  • Hi James,

If you hold the escape key on your keyboard and click the columns that you don't want, they will go away giving you more room for the columns that you do want.

[Edit - not relevant] One note thought unless its been fixed in 2.3.2... If you have multiple PSD's open (your tab is 2.1 or 2.2, not just 2) before you release the escape key after clicking your offending columns, click either Tab 1 or 2 to activate that tab.  There is/was a bug that if you were in a tab other than 1 or 2, when you release escape, it reads it as a "close tab" command and you lose all the changes you just made. Since you not able to close Tab 1 or 2, if that Tab is in focus when you release escape, it is ignored.

  • Thanks very much, this really helped me. So Simple.

Would still like to be able to customise the visuals of the Playback Status a bit more, but this has solved my problem for now ...

    Many thanks

    James
