Feature Request: Magic Sheets

I would like to see the addition of a the following layout tools. These would affect a selected group of objects:

Flip>Vertical

Flip>Horizontal

You can go quite far with copy, paste and rotate

I just thought this myself last weekend drawing a plot where the instruments were symetrical on either side of center on multiple pipes. Would have been great to lay out one half of the pipes, select all the instruments, copy, paste and flip horizontal. I had to lay out each instrument on each pipe instead.

Yes, but can you do what mpilyih describes above? If so, please detail. I've had this feature in another visualizer for over a decade, and frankly it is hard to measure how much time it has saved. Why not implement it?

If you have a group of objects (or fixtures) that you want to "flip Horizontal", for instance, try the following:

1) Select all the objects you want to flip
2) Rotate just one of them 180°, all the rest will rotate with it
3) Group all the objects together
4) Now that they're all one group, you can rotate the entire group 180°
5) Ungroup objects / fixtures

After those steps, you'll have "flipped" the whole selection horizontally. If you want to flip vertically, eliminate Step 3, 4, and 5. Its not quick as a flip command, but I hope this helps!

I agree with Scott L. Flip H and Flip V would be very helpful. I've got a circle on lights on my magic sheet that I can't get to flip without redoing all the numbering.
