Manual Fader Control

In tonight's Dance School recital, I had a twenty minute ballet sequence that had been hastily cued, but not sufficiently timed. I planned on running all of those cues manually, pulling the Main Faders down, pressing Go, then running the faders as appropriate. I soon realized, though that the faders were only inhibiting the Intensities. Upon the Go, all scrollers would advance to the next cue without me moving the faders. Should I have expected that? Is there a better way to accomplish my goal?

Brent, did you have manual timing on all of your timing categories?

No, they all had the default times for Ints and Color. My assumption was that pulling the two Main Faders would stop all parameters, and they then would progress proportionately with the faders.

Ok, I see now that the main Faders are supposed to only regulate intensities by default. I'm pretty near to understanding how that's a good thing, especially when dealing with a lot of parameters.

Next time, I'l have to decide if I want to place hard manual times on the cue range- cue 901 thru 925 color time manual,

Or do the (Manual Override Load) at each Go.
