Question? Why does the element 40 have non-functional inputs and outputs on it? (the mic and speaker plugs on the back) I was hoping to hook a sound system into the one I work on to have lights flash to the beat of the music but according to this those are non-functional. So why are they even there? Is there a way to use this console to get the light to flash to the beat? I do lights and sound for the local high school play which is coming up in march and we'd like to do a scene or two where the lights match the music. Is there a way to do this with the Element 40?
