can any one explain , we did set up the ip addresses and everything but still no communication between mixer ETC element and laptop with windows 7

If you want to use the Laptop to console as a Client, you Need a Nomad/Client DONGLE.

What is the Element IP Address?

Subnet Mask?

Default Gateway?

What is the Laptop IP Address?

Subnet Mask?

Default Gateway?

Do you have the Network Setting "Multi-Console" checked?

What Software Version are you trying to use? What happens when you try and connect

the Nomad Laptop? Does it say no Connection? Can you click TROUBLESHOOT on that Display,

and then choose the Element Console?

if you are trying to run nomad on the pc, have you set nomad's console mode to Element?
