snapshot on element

I am looking for more information about snapshot on element. There is a softkey for it but I cannot find any information about it  or how to use it in the manual.

where can i get basic info about this?

    the Help key. keep it pressed and then press the softkey.
    it should tell you that with snapshot you can record the current state of your displays. you can either record them with typing: Record Snapshot 1 Enter, or when you open the display layout tool (tiny monitor icon top left corner of your screens) and then at the bottom click the sheet of paper with the + in it.

    Hi Tom,
    Snapshots were added to Element in version 2.2.0. You can find a basic write up about it in the Manual Supplement, which can be downloaded at http://www.etcconnect.com/Products/Consoles/Eos-Family/Element/Documentation.aspx. It's on page 11 of the 2.2.0 section.
    For more detailed information about snapshots, I'd recommend checking out the Ion manual. Snapshot information will be added to the Element manual in the next revision.
