Pros and cons of leaving Ion powered on?

We want to use OSC and an iPad to control works and rehearsal lighting from onstage which would require us to leave the Ion running. Is it damaging to the board or monitors to leave them on?

The console can be left on - it's designed for this application. It continues outputting video as long as it is powered on (no screensaver), so to preserve the life of your monitors you may want to turn them off when you leave the booth.
