Sorry if this has already been covered.... I'm looking to purchase a set of Xkeys for my legacy Eos, and was wondering if anyone had any advice on which model to go with.... Is a set with a joystick actually usable for focusing moving lights? Thanks

Hi Darren,

There is not support in the software for the additional joystick/jog wheels that are on some XKeys devices. Otherwise, any of the X-Keys models in hardware-resident mode (just meaning that the configuration is stored on the unit and doesn't require MacroWorks to be running in the background) will work fine.

One more question.... Do I need a computer other than the console to program the xkeys interface? If so, can I use a Mac?

I believe for Hardware Mode, which you want to set it in, you need a windows PC to program it or Windows under Boot Camp on a mac.
