How would you Create Lightning with ETC Element

Lightning as in Lighting Bolt Effect... or Lighting as how to use the Element to create lighting Looks on the stage?

You may Need to be a bit more specific in what you want, so that your fellow Operators can better assist you.

If this is Lightning, please be more specific:

- do you want to have a real looking lightning bolt shine across a backdrop on a cyc? - here you could just get a gobo

   and Flash that in a few times .

- do you want the whole stage to Flash a few times as if lighting effect is coming across the room?

- or what?

If this is LIGHTING - what Kind of Show do you have? Theater, Event; Opera, Church?

   Are you lighting an open stage, or a set, or a church alter?

 - More Information please. ;)

Do you know how to use the Element at all? Can you create a patch, record cues, record submasters?

I want lights to flash like lightning I believe it is called a chase sequence.
this is for my church Easter Cantata and for a lightning effect to go with thunder sound track from a video.
