How to Query channels in a Palette, nested in Presets?

[Query][Color Palette][X][Enter] will select all channels in that color palette, regardless of if they're active or not, and regardless of if they are manual or referenced.

Then type: [Select Last][Select Active][Enter], which will filter out any channels that are not active.

However, this will not work with Color Palettes nested into Presets.  This is one reason that I (almost) never store color data in Presets.  I don't believe there is currently a way to do exactly what you are asking.

Is there a way to take my cue and break the color palettes out of my presets without losing the reference to the color palette in the cue?

I haven't come up with a quick easy way so far--The best way would be to just start looking at it all in blind spreadsheet and replacing with the respective palettes. Like Paul said, most of us choose to never put the CP in to the preset.

At least in live channels recall from preset x. That did it for me.

couldn't you use the Replace function in blind?

Chan 1 Color Preset 2 ReplaceWith ColorPalette 3 Enter

never tried it, but i think that should work. you would have to do it for each preset on its own and manually type which CP to replace it with
