discrete timing conditions

Hi, I was wondering if there are conditions surrounding discrete timings?

I've been using this function to delay focus times and it mostly works, though there are certain cues that wont take the update.

(a red t appears but goes away on the update, or in blind, no t appears)

We got round it with part Qs but it took a while longer that way.

Sorry if this has already been asked/answered,

Thanks in advance

  • since a discrete time is a way to change the fade of a move instruction, you need a move instruction. so if in a cue you have something with a magenta value the discrete time will not stick since that value doesn't change. if there is no change, you can't assign a time to said change.
it does make sense if you think about it, but it has taken me by surprise in the past...
