Using the rgb LED color of the macro buttons on the GIO/EOS Ti

When booting the GIO the buttons of the GIO change in to differtent collors, Is there a way to use this?

for examble when working with macro's..

For example:

when changing setup settings using a macro which toggles between. auto Playback enable (green) / disable etc.(red).
