Pixel Map Shapshot

I am attempting to recall shapshots of different pixel map previews.  I have tried to record a shapshot with with pixel map 1 and then a snapshot of pixel map 2 in the pixel map preview tab.  When I recall the shapshots they do not change which pixel map is being displayed.  I was looking in macros and noticed that there is a soft key called "Pixel_Map_Snapshot"  I have not been able to find the documentation about this to see if this will accomplish what I am looking to do and playing with it I have not been able to achieve any productive results with using it in macros.    Does anyone know which document has information about this?  Or has anyone been able to find a way to recall different pixel maps in the pixel map preview?  I want to be able to find a way to use a macro or a shapshot that will always bring up the same pixel map and then a second macro or shapshot that will recall a different pixel map in the pixel map preview.

Thank you.

I am running 2.3.3 software on an EOS TI.

  • Sorry i might not have been clear in what I am trying to do. I am trying to create two snapshots that both use the left console screen for a pixel map preview, not two different pixel map previews at the same time. For example Snapshot 1 to recall pixel map 1 and snapshot 2 to recall pixel map 2. I am recalling only one preview at a time but the snapshots do not store which pixel map is being viewed when I record the snapshot. That is why I thought that I might need to use the pixel map shapshot command in a macro. Is this something that is possible in the software? I know that I can Next and Last thru the pixel maps but it would be more efficient if I have a snapshot that can dictate which preview when I record the snapshot. Thank you.
  • You can make Macros to select Pixelmaps.
Just learn the macro and use the Next or Last in the pixel display, then edit the macro to add the pixel map number.
