My high school has an Express 48/96, but it is has already been repaired a couple of times and we are starting to expand/replace our instrument stock with LED's, so it's becoming clear that we are going to need a new console. We still run primarily basic lights - Pars, ERS and Fresnels - so any new console will still need to be able to control those.
We don't have any moving lights, or any plan to get moving lights in the immediate or distant future. We need the least expensive console that will meet our current needs and let us expand some in the future. I've read some info that the Element 40 is an appropriate replacement for the Express console, but I want some more info and recommendations before I start fundraising and planning for the purchase.
