Bug: [Execute] [String] Problem

When I do [Execute] [String], if I just do it once I disable the shift button and change what the focus, color, etc...buttons do. I can't get it back doing anything except for again pressing [Execute][String] which does seem to fix it (as does existing or restarting).  I have experienced this on the both consoles I have used strings with.  Both are older consoles with the multi-pin DVI connectors.  I am running 2.3.3.9.0.10.  It doesn't seem to matter if I actually put something in or just clear the command line after doing [Execute][String], the problem still corrects/creates itself.

  • Hello,

I took a look at this on an Ion running 2.3.3 and wasn't able to reproduce. I have a few questions that might help identify a reproducer.

Can you describe exactly what keys you press (beyond [Execute][String])? Does this happen from a new showfile? Also, are you using the Ion's facepanel for all of this? Can you try with external USB devices disconnected?

    Thanks!
