Cue stack 1 not restoring value after stack 2 fires

Just a little background on what I'm trying to accomplish on our EOS control system for our production right now.

I have a sequence of "fireworks" loaded into cue stack 2, essentially a bump on with a mover and a flash of an Altman Spectra Cyc that autofollow out. This whole stack is being fired over MIDI from Qlab. The issue I'm running into is that I'm using the cyc lights to, you know, light the sky but as each firework cue takes and fades the cyc unit that was being changed doesn't restore to the tracked value in Cue Stack 1 (non-MIDI fired stack). I've tried to make the second stack independent which didn't help as well as trying to assert cue stack 1 which almost destroyed my show file as it started to mix values from both cue stacks even though the cue stack 2 wasn't firing cues at that point.

Because my second cue stack is MIDI fired, is there any way to additively fire the cyc light and have it restore to it's previous value from stack 1? The cyc is in a move-fade to night so I can't just post hard data to the "fade out" which I think would have helped with the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
