How do I update the Nomad PC software

Question

How do I update the Nomad PC programme on my laptop to the latest version. Do I need to delete the old version first and start afresh or can I just install the new download over the top. 
 I ask this question because for some reason I cannot download the the latest version. The file appears to download normally, with Chrome indicating the speed and amount of file being downloaded, but when it gets to the end of the process it comes up with "down load failed". Is this because there is a previous version installed, or is it a separate problem altogether. 
 Running Windows 10, and Nomad version 2.3.1

You can install the new software right over the old. I just did that today, and I had no trouble updating to the latest software. Download was no problem. If you are using your Nomad with a console, you will need to ensure that your Nomad and Console are running the exact same software version. The fixture libraries also have to be the same. 
 
Check your download folder and make sure there aren't any other upgrade files in it. Chrome might be having a problem with matching file names in the target location. You might also try clearing your browser cache and history.

Turned out to be a antivirus or firewall issue. Couldn't get the downloads to work with either Chrome or Edge, and on two different networks. Turned off protection and downloaded without any trouble. I can only assume that my antivirus doesn't like Zip files. A bit odd, as it hasn't been an issue in the past, although this is the first time I've tried to download the updates since upgrading to Windows 10.
