Ion Client Shortcut keys

Hello All,

 Many thanks to Tracy Fitch from ETC Technical Services for helping me connect my laptop to my Ion.  I am trying to use the shortcut keys on my laptop to control the console but many seem to not be working.  The number keys work, the Backspace key clears the command line but "T" just puts a "T" on the command line, not "Thru", same thing for "A".

 

What am I missing?!   Someday I might actually be able to *answer* a question as opposed to *asking* them :-)

  • Turn Scroll Lock on.  This toggles key commands and typing, and holds true for a keyboard connected to the console and both the Eos/Ion and Obsession offline editors.

    Note that there is also a "Scroll Lock" button on the console and a keyboard shortcut for that button.  Don't confuse the console scroll lock with the external keyboard scroll lock.
