[Command Request] GroupGel

Hi,

Would it be problematic to accept Group, Gel Colour as a command?

Like Query, Gel, GelNumber. To group all units holding the Gel specified in Patch.

would be nice as I usually have colour picker in the CIA open with show gels, and I know some users miss the @ text function of other consoles.

  • Hi. You can do that now (if I understand you correctly), but not through the gel picker. Query [Gels] [Select gel from CIA] picks all fixtures that have that gel included in their patch data. If you add select active to the query, it will select all fixtures that are active that have that gel defined.

    We could look at opening up these commands to other control elements (such as the color picker tools) - will ponder in due time.
