OSC with multiple IPs

Hi,

How can I send OSC from the EOS to muliple IP addresses? We use Touch OSC on our phones, on our wireless using DHCP and it would be great to be able to get a command line on all of the devices without having to all be different users.

Until the Eos can be set to send OSC commands to multiple addresses, you will need to set your OSC Tx address to the "broadcast address" of your subnet. That will send OSC data to every IP address on the network. Take a look here to calculate what that broadcast address is: http://jodies.de/ipcalc

That works fine. Do you know if there are any problems with broadcasting OSC in such a wide range of IPs?

It's not technically a problem on a simple network with unmanaged switches and static IP addresses (like most ETCNet3 systems), but it can be a problem on more complex networks. Some switches (managed ones) will block broadcast packets.
