Element v2.4 fader config tab

In the v2.4 supplement it talks about Tab 36 Fader config. I'm currently working in the offline editor and it is set to Element. When I'm in this mode it appears that Tab 36 doesn't exist. When I switch over to EOS it appears. Is this tab not available on the Element? If it isn't can I still map effect rate to a fader? How would I do this?

    this is not available in Element 2.4 .

    you can still have effect rate, but since you can only have one fader controlling an effect, you would loose intensity control and whould have to find a workaround for that (which can be done).

    edit the respective effect: change the Entry Behaviour to Fade by Rate.
    make your sub an Effect Sub, load the effect into the sub.
    the bump button will start the effect, the fader will control the rate.
