Delete multiple "favorites" fixtures

Is it possible to delete more than one fixture at a time in the favorite fixtures list in patch?

i came across a show file that has over 500 fixtures in this list with only a handful of them actually being used.  Opening the show file takes longer than expected siting on the "processing fixtures" or what ever it's called in the list of things that gets loaded when a show file is opened.

  • I'm afraid not. It's been on the list and on my personal list for a while. It's quite an issue when trying to clean up very large showfiles as you've seen. I'm hoping it'll be looked at soonish. At least you can now scroll through the list with the wheel!

  • I'd love to add my +1 to this.  Having recently discovered the Vectorworks Purge function that removes currently obsolete data and objects from saved files, I'd welcome something similar for EOS Showfiles, particularly to clear the Favorites Fixtures list in Patch.  Ideally it would have a selective (by desk function area) interface similar to selective merge.

Almost all my showfiles are built on previous examples, and for a while now I've also been wondering about that "1 Scaled Parked Channel" that has been in all of my showfiles since 2009 and is listed every time I save - but with many of the lines in the Save Progress dialogue, maybe they all show '1' even if none are in use so as not to have a zero value or missing line?  If that isn't what it is, there's probably a lot more that could usefully be purged out of all my showfiles!
