How to make focus, gobo wheels, and color fader dependent.

Hello,

I am pretty new to lighting terminology and all of the things that go with it. I was wondering if it is possible to move a fader on the ETC element and have a light track that is scaled to the fader. Is this possible to do with gobos as well? Is this done with sub masters, color palettes or something else?

Hello, Ben:

In Element this is done using Submasters. When Submasters are recorded they snapshot anything live at the moment unless you make a specific selection. Then, using the corresponding fader you can change levels proportionally.
