EOS Magic Sheet Pan/Tilt issue

Hi gang,

I have read in other posts that pan/tilt encoders or some sort of trackpad is an eventual upgrade for the magic sheets. So for the time being, I am trying to be creative.

I am currently using v2.3.1 (offline at the moment). I have built 12 buttons on one of my magic sheet tabs.  The top 6 buttons are PAN + 01, PAN + 05, PAN + 10 (3 more for tilt) and then the bottom 6 buttons are meant to subtract 1, 5 and 10 from the current values.

So, problem is...the software sees the plus (+) sign as an "add this value to the current value" but it does not see the minus (-) sign as a "subtract from current value", it sees it as a "go to this negative value". Is there any possible macro coding that would get me around this problem? The current macros for the negative buttons are programmed with: "pan - 01 enter" etc. Adding the @ sign obviously does the exact same thing as not having it. It sends the value to the negative value of the macro.

If anyone has a clever idea of how to get around this silly little problem, I would love to hear from you...or suggestions on how to fake some pan/tilt controls for the time being until encoders are included.

Thanks.
Darren
