disable Record button is direct selects

Hello

Is it possible to disable the record button ore recording direct selects. this to prevent other LD of changing the direct select.

I though of using Cell Editing but that doesn't work.

In DS x25 you can hide the Record button with the gears. But you can't generally disable recording. By locking Presets however you can making harder to record over presets

Found it, didn't now the name of this was gears, I would thought it would be called setting of TAB. Thank a lot.
