2.4 Mark Bug

In 2.4 I have a strange bug when marking for a cue with independent timing. It takes these independent timings over to the cue where the channels mark.

So in cue 102 I have indep. time on channels 11 through 15: delay 0 to 60, time 60 seconds.

Cue 101 my cue time is 8 seconds, yet the total duration of the cue is over a minute. I have little t's on the channels that are marking and there is no way to remove it.

I am using automark and the automark time is 3 seconds. Changing this time doesn't help.

  • Thanks for your answer, but I want those channels to fade in different times, so in that cue the discrete timing needs to be there. I don't need it in the cue were the channels are marking though. Or are you saying that if I put the discrete timing only on intensity and remove it from FCB my problem is solved? I can try that later today.

  • that's what i'm saying :)
what you're seeing with the discrete times on the FCB parameters is this: you can only have discrete times on move instructions (i think that's logical, right? if nothing changes, you can't have a time for that thing that doesn't change). so discrete times are connected to a move instruction (in your case cue 102). automark is an automatic method to transport this move instruction (for FCB) into the cue before (in your case cue 101). and because the discrete time is connected to that move instruction you end up seeing the discrete time in cue 101 although in reality it lives in cue 102 (where also the move instruction actually lives).
