Possible minor bug in 2.4 Magic Sheet when selecting groups

A couple of times when I have selected a "group" button from a Magic Sheet, it has actually activated the channel number on the command line rather than the group number associated with the button. ie- selecting "Group 100" has given me control of channel 100 rather than than the group. The first time it happened I assumed that I'd done something wrong, however the second time was definitely the desk as the channel that became active is not actually on the magic sheet.

  • I have had confusion sometimes with grouping and duplicating Magic Sheet groups of objects to create new grouped objects. Perhaps this is what you are running into?

For me, the best practice has been to ungroup the group of objects first, before duplicating them and then assigning new targets/regrouping.

Otherwise, even an eventually ungrouped object would retain some of the original groups' info (without showing that info in the MS editor). I hope this is helpful...yeesh.

P.S. Is it possible that Channel 100 is also in your Group 100 and is underneath the MS Group as another Target in the button?
