[Go To Cue] scenes

I'm really liking scenes.  A clever organizational tool.

When you press [Go To Cue], is there any reason the CIA couldn't auto-populate with existing scenes? (Rather than having to press {scenes} first.)  The browser isn't really needed when you're in the middle of a [Go To Cue] command.  Is there anyone who wouldn't want the scenes to appear?

Thanks

  • Kris, we typically try to keep the amount of visual change on the screens to a minimum, to avoid the visual noise disruption. That was the reason we decided to add the "scene" request command. Easy to change if people feel it would be an advantage --- but we do generally put some energy into keeping the displays as static as possible.

But as an example, there was a bit of anxiety when we added the update dialogue box back in the day - about it being one more thing people felt compelled to look at prior to executing the update instruction.

    Thoughts all?
