Kris, we typically try to keep the amount of visual change on the screens to a minimum, to avoid the visual noise disruption. That was the reason we decided to add the "scene" request command. Easy to change if people feel it would be an advantage --- but we do generally put some energy into keeping the displays as static as possible.

But as an example, there was a bit of anxiety when we added the update dialogue box back in the day - about it being one more thing people felt compelled to look at prior to executing the update instruction.

I'm for keeping the current behavior as standard.

Thanks Anne, I can appreciate that reasoning. I can see how someone could find that distracting.

(That said, I'm glad you decided to keep the update dialogue box. I don't think I'm the only one that finds it very comforting.)
