Quite often I'll write a sub with front lights at 70%, 2 back IQs at a preset (intensity and focus), for a lectern. the sub is Intensity Master. in the show, I mark the sub (press bump; the IQs move into position) and then I fade intensity up. All good.
I recently tried this using a top light (Fresnel), and the front lights were 2 channels of Coloursource4 LED units, at a Colour Palette and intensity. I recorded the sub with the different intensities, the colour palette, and also made it an Intensity Master.
However, when I went to mark it, the fresnels bumped on. I cleared the time command from the sub, but I couldn't get the system to work like the IQ.
