Bug: 2.5.0: Mouse wheel doesn't work properly

The mouse wheel doesn't work to scroll a channel, patch, or record target table display or zoom it when the mouse pointer is on or next to any channel.

The same behavior is true for the PSD.

The scroll wheel works fine to scroll a direct selects display or tombstone view.

I'm downgrading to 2.4.1 until this gets fixed. I use the wheel all the time.

I think it's a consequence of in-cell editing. The mouse events aren't always getting to the window that needs to receive them.

Position the mouse inside the tab but not directly over the scrolling area. I've gotten in the habit of hovering over the tab label for most consistent results.

That's a defect. Thanks. For now, hovering over the tab label and moving the mouse wheel works.

Dan, I would expect that scroll wheeling on the tab label of a magic sheet tab would zoom in and out (like scroll wheeling in the tab itself does). Right now, scrolling over a tab label of a magic sheet moves the contents up and down.

Hold down the left mouse button while scrolling to zoom. I'm pretty sure it's always been this way.

I disagree. In a MS tab (and only there) the mouse wheel zooms (at least used to). Click and wheel is for the other tabs

Ueli is correct. Left click and scroll is not required for magic sheets. My only comment is that it's weird that scroll wheeling in the MS tab content zooms, while scroll wheeling over the MS tab label moves the content up and down. I think they both should zoom.
