How do I run an effect on a arri sky panel?

That should be easy enough, but needs some additional info. Which variant do you have? It's a C version, right? And which mode are you running it in? That's a number between and 1 and 16 I believe

in live, make the skypanel as red as you want it to be (the color crossfade parameter needs to be at the right end, i think at 100). record this as a color palette: Chan 1 Record Color Palette 11 Enter

make it as blue as you want it to be and record as color palette: Chan 1 Record Color Palette 12 Enter.

open the effect list: Effect Effect

create a new effect by typing a number that's not used yet: Effect 21 Enter

choose effect type Absolute

in the small table you see in the CIA you automatically get steps 1 and 2. click in the Level column for step 1 (where it says 0) and enter Color Palette 11

in the Level column for step 2 (where it says Bkgrd) enter Color Palette 12.

maybe change the timing or other properties of the effect

press Live

Channel 1 Effect 21 Enter will start the effect and change the colors of your skypanel
