2.5 tab 35 (fader list) possible bug

Running 2.5 on my XP Ion with a 2x10 fader wing attached.  I also noticed this when I was using 2.4.1 (did not install 2.4.0)

If I click on a submaster I can generate a new master fader out of thin air.

Also- once generated they do not seem to be possible to delete.

Initial screen. I have no idea why master (U11) is there or why it is hi-lighted.

I click on sub 2/10 and master (U16) self generated

I clicked on sub 2/10 again

and once more on sub 2/10

clicked sub 1/10 next (for variety)

and finally clicked master (U26) twice

Also- if I hi-light one of the masters, push the Delete facepanel key, double tap enter the master will disappear.

If I bring up any other tab, then go back into tab 35 the master that I just deleted reappears.

Anyone else seen this?

  • Hi Al,

This is a bug. I haven't found all of the edges to it yet, but it appears that when there are faders mapped to the second page and higher, the "Master Fader" syntax somehow gets pulled in as you click around that page.

I will get an SCR written up. As to the additional "Master (U##)"s, you can delete them with the syntax [Delete] {Fader} {Master User} [#] [Enter]. However, they will re-appear if you click around some more. I don't think they're actually hurting anything, but they're quite annoying!

    Sorry for the trouble.
