Hej folks it´s me again...
If I use Automark but want to switch it off not just for a specific Cue but for a specific Channel within a Cue what´s the best way to do that?
For example I have a LED-Bar coming up in Q5 in Blue but want to see a fade from Red when the dimmer is coming up. One way of course could be to set the dimmer to 0.1 in the Q before but that´s not very elegant (and with LEDs propably still visible).
I think I could record the red color for that LED as a part 2 of the Q before and turn AutoMark off for that one. But I personally would like to work without Part-Cues as long as I´m not forced to use them.
Edit: Tried that on Nomad 2.5 and it didn´t work. With AutomarkOff the sign in the PSD changed from M to D but it was still marking. Same result for Q and Q-Part. Bug or user-error?
Edit: USER ERROR!
Another solution I had in mind was using Assert on that channel but I couldn´t get it to work.
I got those red A´s when I tell the channel to "Assert" but I get blue A´s only on Params which are tracking anyway others are still marking.
I´m not even shure if Assert should do what I want but that´s how I think it should work as I understand manual 2.0.
Sooo can anybody tell e what I´m doing wrong/how to fix this? And if there is a better way to do that I´m interested as well.
I know it would be a good idea to get more into referenced marking but this one is about Automark.
Thx guys
