I went to the "Supper Club" event at ETC Hollywood last night and there was discussion about adding the pop-up encoder display to the Ion. I told everyone that it already exists but nobody believed me. So, today I double-checked (using an Ion running 2.4.1) and I was right. Control+Alt+Backslash on your external keyboard opens and closes the pop-up encoder display in the CIA and you can look at your color, gobos, etc.
