Recording Channels onto Faders?

The reason why you're not finding it, is probably a problem of vocabulary. There are two things that might help you:

You can set your fader wing to Channel Fader mode: keep the button Fader Controls pressed and have a look at your fader wing. Pressing the last button moves the wing into fader mode. Each fader now represents a single channel. But you can't define the order.

Is there a reason why you don't want a submasters for your channels? It would be exactly the way to use to get a channel (or any combination of channels) onto a fader and even be able to say which fader should control what channel.
