first of all: if you post a link to a manual here and a need-by date, ETC can add it to the official library. regular turn around time is 2 weeks.

when creating fixture definitions yourself you don't need all the fine parameters. simply use e.g. Pan, click the 8BIT next to it which will convert into 16BIT. in the column DMX you put whatever you had for Pan anyway and in the LDMX column you put the address for Pan fine.

color wheels = Color Select
gobo wheel rotation = Gobo Index/Speed
frost = Diffusion
pan/tilt speed = Position MSpeed
special functions = Macro or User, maybe it's a lampControl channel, kinda depends on what's in there

I wish I could post the page or of the manual. Pan parameter makes the thing tilt. Tilt parameters does nothing.

I have dropped back to the more simple 17 channel mode instead of 20 channel. That takes out the pan fine and tilt fine.

I hate to move on down the list to try you other suggestions before I get the first two channels working.

You want it to look like this:

Pan, 16bit, 1, 2
Tilt, 16bit, 3, 4
ColorSelect, 8bit, 5, (empty)
ColorSelect2, 8bit, 6, (empty)
And so on..

I followed your suggestions.
Tilt works perfectly, Pan - not at all.
I can see the GOBO wheel spinning in there.
I used Intensity for Master Dimmer. The light does not come on. 8-(

How do you know which to select - 8bit or 16bit?

If it has pan and pan fine, then it's pan 16bit. If no fine is mentioned then it's 8bit

I would love to have a more permanent profile made for you, but would absolutely need a manual. Are you certain this is the BXW? This brings no fixtures up on the ADJ site. Could it is be BSW?
